About to leave the halfway point of Nome during the 2009 race!

Its been a little while since the last update so there are some things to catch up on. Iron Dog did not go according to plan. After leading the race the entire first day we had major mechanical problems the second day which forced us to do a lot of repairs and towing. We dropped way off the pace and were forced to scratch on day 3 with more mechanical problems that were unrepairable on the trail.
We are in the process of getting geared up for Arctic Man and we leave first thing in the morning. Both of us have a skier and snowboarder coming so we will be very busy this next week training and getting everything dialed in before the race on Friday.
